Legen-"wait for it"-dary!

Today was stuff legends are made of. We were [FINALLY !] shown our corrected Criminal Law-I answer sheets, from last trimester, and well, I passed! =D ! The reason for my surprise can be attributed to the following...

Last trimester, towards the End-Term examinations, I'd fallen violently ill, something, I will hold my so-called friend Baggy, totally responsible for. [She may not necessarily be the cause, but I want to hold her responsible.]

Therefore well, I took all my exams heavily drugged, and in a perpetual states of hypnos, if you will. Criminal Law was my third examination in a row, by which I had decided that whoever invented examination and crime, was indeed a nutcase. In a rebellious and brave mood, I said to myself, "Fuck the world, I don't think I have too long to live, so I'll do what I want." You see...I was dying of all those antibiotics right then.

So I went to take the exam. I took the sheet and read the questions. I realised I didn't know any of the answers. I thought, "Ah...no problem, I'll do just what I want." I can't tell you how many people have fallen into rut for harbouring that thought. What I wanted to do right then was be honest. Angels were probably assisting me in my quest, and seems they decided that the time had come to shower upon me the golden light of truthdom.

Here's what I wrote:

[To a question poking me about the law on insanity as a defence, and some 'Omayu Ayatu' case which I perceptibly was hearing the first of...]
"In the Omayu Ayatu case, a man walked out of his house early morning to see a child stooping at his steps. He obviously thought that it was a devil or a demon, given the fact that it was early morning and that the child was stooping. So he beat it with a cane till he died, whereupon he discovered, that it was, infact, a child, and not a demon. Alright, so what the petitioner actually claimed was the defence of good faith in this case, but it could also have been insanity. Alright, here's the deal actually. Due to my inability to recall the facts of Omayu Ayatu, I have actually stated the facts of Hyatt v. Emperor here. But well, consider this might also have worked."

[My conclusion...]
"...It is notable here that the determination of insanity is a very tricky business."

[And all this was peppered with some ideas for dresses which I happened to have in my mind then and Beatles' lyrics...]
"Let me take you down 'cuz I'm going to
Strawberry Fields, nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry Fields forever!"

[Well, don't blame me!...I was done with my paper surprisingly early, and I needed to fight my baser instincts--(Refer to my last post)]

And with everything, I passed! =D

Mostly I think 'cuz I had got 23/30 in the mid-terms, which was like the class-highest *false cough* almost like...[M got 24/30]. But also, I don't think I would have but for my teacher, Dr. S, who graciously prevented my total fall.
So I'd like to acknowledge my gratitude to him by assigning his wise words the undisputed position of my quote of the day,

[To students being "non-serious" while he delivers his lecture...]

" What is this! While I'm delivering something, you must wait..."
